Director, Contracts and Procurement

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD), which includes the Departments of Unemployment Assistance (DUA), MassHire Career Services (DCS), Industrial Accidents (DIA), Labor Standards (DLS), Labor Relations (DLR), and Family and Medical Leave (DFML), manages the Commonwealth's workforce development and labor departments to ensure that workers, employers, and the unemployed have the tools and training needed to succeed in the Massachusetts economy.

Director of Federal Grants Management

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development seeks a Director of Federal Grants Management, reporting to the CFO in the Finance Department and working with the Department of Unemployment Assistance, Department of Career Services, Department of EOLWD agencies with developing, maintaining, and overseeing the program’s budget and fiscal monitoring activities at both the state and local levels. In addition to assisting all requests for state and federal funding and monitoring throughout the year, the Director will support the development of grant applications, grant submissions, and other fiscal monitoring and reporting requirements.

Director of Financial Reporting

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) is a Secretariat which manages the Commonwealth’s workforce development and labor departments to ensure that workers, employers, and the unemployed have the tools and training needed to succeed in the Massachusetts economy. EOLWD consists of six departments: MassHire Department of Career Services, Department of Industrial Accidents, Department of Labor Standards, Department of Labor Relations, Department of Unemployment Assistance, and the Department of Paid Family and Medical Leave.

Reporting to CFO, the Director of Financial Reporting will prepare a roadmap to the ACFR and drive ETA quarterly reports to completion. He/she will be part of a lead team for technical accounting and internal controls. The Director of Financial Reporting is accountable to highly visible projects with tight deadlines including the SEFA, ACFR and SBFR. The Director should be comfortable with GAAP reconciliations, breaking down financial roadblocks, seeking scalable solutions, and join the team in “rolling up their sleeves” when necessary.

Experiences Officer

The Experiences Officer serves as a key support position for the Freedom Trail® Foundation. The Experiences Officer may often be the first point of contact between the Foundation and the general public, and thereby serves in a critical role, representing the stature and distinction of the organization. The Experiences Officer requires outstanding interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. Ideal candidates must be a proficient multi-tasker, able to establish priorities, and achieve objectives within established timeframes. The position is a combination of customer service, programs execution support, as well as general administrative office support. This is an opportunity to master the skills needed to work in a nationally recognized non-profit organization.
