This is a temporarily hybrid (a minimum of 2 in-office days ) position during the transition from a remote work environment. GBCVB is committed to flexible work arrangements (flexible work hours and some work from home) once we resume an in-person work environment.
Act as social media lead, establishing a consistent message, build loyal followers, grow engagement and encourage online conversations.
Maintain active accounts across key platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Responsible for scheduling and maintaining an organized social calendar, including events, contests, deals/packages, and special occasions.
Collaborate on e-campaigns to amplify marketing promotions and drive web traffic.
Monitor content analytics and create reports on overall social performance.
Identify and deploy social media trends to further promote Greater Boston.
Coordinate and maintain an ongoing and comprehensive image library.
Assist with CRM database maintenance, updates, and reporting.
Assist with Press Room maintenance.
Support the development of social media content to promote sales and services teams.
Coordinate an integrated social media forum for employees to share content from events.
Participate in marketing strategy development.
Assist in design implementation and content creation for all social platforms.
College graduate, preferably in marketing/communications.
Minimum of 3+ years working in social media
Experience with brand design preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Social Media platforms.
Experience with Photoshop, InDesign a plus.
Multimedia production/ photography and videography experience a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
