Major responsibilities include but are limited to:

  • Manage balance sheet composition and associated risks, including market sensitivity to interest rates. Prepare, present, and discuss balance sheet activity, risk positions, financial performance, as well as complex strategies to regulators, executive management, and external auditors.
  • Demonstrate leadership in Corporate Treasury. Collaborate with team on portfolio strategies, balance sheet hedging, funds management, strategic planning, and analytical improvements.
  • Oversee quarterly asset liability modeling and Corporate Treasury Analyst. Review and validate forecasting and risk measurement process, including key assumptions. Collaborate on annual capital stress testing (DFAST) modeling as well as budgeting and quarterly earnings forecasts.
  • Provide assistance and back up on the loan level swap desk. Work with colleagues to price deal structures and advise commercial lenders and their customers.
  • Serve as the Treasury subject matter expert on the Bank’s transition away from the LIBOR index. This project requires strong leadership skills, ability to communicate desired outcomes to operations and sales teams, and independent financial and regulatory research presented to executive management.
  • Collaborate with groups including audit, model and market risk management, regulators, and business units on all aspects of asset liability management, capital stress testing, and derivatives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Master’s Degree or CFA charter holder preferred
  • 5-10 years in a related role

  • Deep understanding of asset liability management, derivatives, and financial markets
  • Strong teamwork mentality with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
  • Candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated with a solid quantitative background
  • Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Advanced Excel skills
